— ABOUT THE AUTHORS —

Joseph Colacova author of Make Something HappenJoseph Colacova -
was never one to take things lying down. Now he’s showing others that they don’t have to, either. His NEW book, Make Something Happen -- What to Do Next, speaks to the heart of the dismal economic conditions that millions of Americans have been compelled to endure, and then one by one introduces different individuals whose lives have been turned upside-down but who, through perseverance, creative thinking, and strategy, took an idea and successfully turned it into an opportunity for their own self-preservation. Born in Parsippany Troy-Hills, NJ, Colacova now happily resides in South Florida. Joe enjoyed a sales career, working for several different large publishers, before he and his most recent employer mutually agreed to part ways. This freed Colacova to follow his true bliss: writing. And he has a message he’s spreading with the fervor of a preacher: If you find yourself unemployed or underemployed, take your future in your own hands and, in the words of the book’s title, Make Something Happen.

The author’s previous book, The Book of British Slang, was published in 2003.

Don Napolitani  -
When you ask anyone who knows author Don Napolitani to describe him in five words or less, you’re most likely to hear; “Donny Nap is a dreamer”. And by all accounts he would certainly agree. Born in Mount Vernon, New York, Nap has never been afraid to follow his dreams and this latest book co-authored with close friend Joseph Colacova essentially tells readers that today it’s that dream or idea that could essentially be your saving grace and help you “Make Something Happen”. In what most individuals would consider an extremely colorful career, Don has worked in various industries starting with restaurant management, gourmet food product importing, exporting and distribution and moving on to pharmaceutical marketing and sales, print and media advertising, radio broadcasting and most recently, as one of the new creative forces behind Brotherhood Winery, the Oldest and one of the most successful wineries in America located in Washingtonville, NY. The author’s previous book, “Catching Days & Chasing Nights” published in 2005 is a hardcover children’s storybook completely illustrated by students through a successful Art, Literature & Education Program the author created. The program involved over twenty individual school districts in Orange County, New York along with several thousand students and was designed to get kids excited about literature and poetry by having them read and translate his poetic stories about fun, familiar and exciting experiences and adventures of children and families into art.

“Always follow your dreams; they’re designed to come true”.
